Gives us a chance to see if your kinks align with our own. Yes, this is a good start. To make an even better profile, stop and think, add more.

What are your limits? What will you not try or do? Let us know what is completely off the table. This might actually make you think and do some soul-searching.

What is the most important to add? What can you offer as a submissive? What skills do you possess? What can you do for us? You should know what you are good at that might benefit your future owner.

Above all, know what you can afford and be honest about it. Yes, there are Dommes that will accept a middle-class sub. Poor subs, I advise you to find a second or even third job.
